The Director of PT Mandiri Timber Pratama is committed to encouraging the realization of environmentally friendly products and Sustainable Forest Management by:

1. Trading wood originating from Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) FSC
2. Fulfilling the FSC values as set out in the “Policy for Association of organizations with FSC”
3. Not involved directly or indirectly with the following activities:

• Illegal logging or trading in illegal wood or forest products
• Violations of customary and human rights in forest operations
• Destruction of high conservation values in forest operations
• Large-scale conversion of forests to plantations or non-forest uses
• Use of genetically modified organisms in forest operations
• Violation of any ILO Core Convention, as set out in the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work 1998.   

         4. Implementing FSC Chain of Custody Standards
         5. Improving human resource competency
         6. Implementing labor-related laws and regulations and ILO conventions related to labor which include:

• Do not employ child workers
• Eliminate forced and compulsory labor
• There is no discrimination in employment and position
• There are no restrictions on workers’ unionization

        7. Implement laws and regulations related to Occupational Safety and Health.
